45 Colt 1.57-1.58” ok for Lever action?

I loaded up some 45 Colt for a lever action I’m getting soon. It will share this ammo with my SAAs. The load is 8.5gr Unique and I’m curious if I’m OK with that length OAL?

Depends on the lever action; '73, '92 or '94?

Some lever actions are particular in bullet nose style also. My '73 won't feed SWCs......my '92 would.
