glad to see all the data on the targets

too many times we see great groups but have no idea how far the target was set up

That says the rifle can shoot and you know how to manipulate a trigger and control your breathing. Can't think of the last game animal, not varmint that I shot outside of about 40 yards. This post made me smile,simple yet elegant thank you for sharing it with us. That rifle is on my short list , how ever being a firearms instructor deals often "fall" into my lap that were not on the list and it puts the list farther out of reach, but I have a few things that I think I'm ready to move down the road and a 357 lever and a 450 bolt action are on the short list.

The bottom group was from the used 1975 Glenfield 30-30 I picked up recently. Came with a Williams rear peep so I put a Lyman globe on the front. The Henry surprised me doing that well with the buckhorn rear.

Or the hood, don't ask because I got rid of the PU. It couldn't keep from jumping in front of the shot.

I hang targets like that on the wall in my office , I like to look at them !
