I was wondering if there's someone out there who can provide bore and groove dimensions for the currently manufactured blued and stainless 336s in .444 Marlin. I shot my newly acquired 444P yesterday and it shot circles around my .35 cal Ruger M77s at 2100 fps. I'd like to get another .444 with a longer barrel and a pistol grip but am wondering how the bore/groove dimensions of the new guns (especially the stainless guns) compare to the 444P which was discontinued about 5 years ago.
Thanks a bunch... I'd rather not call Marlin 'cause I don't trust the answers I get from their customer service department anymore.
