That's pretty cool, thank you. I sure wish I could make it to that one. I've been tentatively planning on going for months but something came up and there's just no way around it.

Anyone in the area, this is really a great show; an old fashioned gun show the way gun shows should be!

Last year I made the same offer. We had ZERO people come through the door that claimed to shoot cast boolits. This year I'm hoping to get, at least, one. I know we have a few members in the area. So, come on in and introduce yourself. I'm the show director so I'll be easy to find.

I'm pretty sure you'll get at least one this year. I passed it on to some friends in your area, two of whom are boolit shooters and one is a caster.

that is a very nice offer you made there. I do wish people around here would do that. but no such luck in that happening. D Crockett

I can't make that show. Darn it.
Have to work this weekend.

I do prefer that people taking advantage of this be members of the forum. I guess I didn't say so.

Oh, sorry. The one guy is, just doesn’t visit often. I sent them links to this thread so maybe the other guy will sign up and start casting his own.

Free admission if your active duty but they throw us retired military under the bus even though we gave at least 20 years. Hate to see signs like that.

He's giving forum members here free admission as well. Too bad I'm not in Oregon or I'd come take a look.

Nice offer and I'd love to take advantage of it but the drive is a bit much.

Man, wish a show would do that around here! (Colorado, or Colobraska since I'm in the NE corner, lol).

So how was the show?

Hi All, The show was a great success! Nice collection of member's displays and tables full of guns and gun stuff. Not much
"Black Rifle" stuff.
We had ONE person claim to shoot cast boolits and he was not a forum member but had heard about the offer. Oh well,
maybe next year...

I wish someone would have a decent show up here in the NorthEast. Its been a long time since I've been to a good show. And even though I cast...I'd still be willing to pay my entrance...just to help the promoters out.

You only had a single person get free Admission but they were not a member here...did I understand that correctly?

Glad to hear you had a good show.

redhawk, the fellow that took advantage of the offer must have heard about it from the forum but not a member. I'm okay with that.
Our club has been in existence since 1967. We're a collectors club and support several non-profits with money, if we have it, and free tables at our shows. Just trying to keep the sport alive. Just to drop a name, Rex Applegate was a member up until his passing.
