Was given a little over a pound of each, and was wondering if anybody has worked up any cast loads for either or both powders.

N110 is my go to powder for cast boolit loads from 6.5 up to 8MM. I mainly shoot military rifles and most of them are .303. 18gns is "the load" if I may use Ed Harris's term. N110 is slightly slower than 2400.

N150 I use for full stoke cast loads around 2,200 fps in the 303", alloy hardness, lube and boolit fit are the keys here along with a slowish powder like N150, its around AA 4350 burning rate.

I'm using 41gns N150 with a custom fit 190 gn gc boolit. Car Red and LBT soft bllue lubes.

These loads work in my rifles, you'll need to work up your own for safety.

I use the VV N-110 in my Savage 10ML muzzle loader !

I want to try some VV N-120 with cast bullets in the 444 Marlin but my deaker cannot seem to get 120 for some reason !

But the 110 is the only VV powder I've ever purchased , had or used so far [smilie=1:

I use VV a lot. They do make fine, consistent powders.

I want to try some VV N-120 with cast bullets in the 444 Marlin.

N-120 is a dandy in the 45-70 and I suspect it will be in the 444 as well.

While I am currently out and need to reorder it

N-120 also works quite well in my 357 Max and in the 357 Max strech round I load

Hello.
We often use VV powders in france. Here are the loads I use :
- 357 Mag : 13,5grs N 110 & 150 - 158grs boolit.
- 44 Mag : 20,5grs N 110 & 245grs boolit.
- 7.08 Rem : 37,8grs N 150 & Sierra Match King 1930 (168grs bullet)

OH OOOOH
I forgot to mention that de 7.08 Rem load was for a molycoated bullet. If the bullet is left "natural" keep the charge at 36,3 grains.
I also forgot to mention a good load for 45-70gvt : 29,5grs of VV N110 with a milk pack slice to keep the powder against the primer pocket, and a LYMAN Gould Boolit.
This load will print a MOA @ 110 yards in my marlin 1895 and a little bit less in my BROWNING 1885. I've hunted with it and no complains formuled by games :drinks:

Here in Italy is hard to find IMR powders and VV make the big part.
14,0 grs of N110 is my load for 6,5 Carcano and Lyman 266465; 21.0 grs for 7,62 Mosin and 311299; 20,5 grs for 44 mag and GB 240 grs. 7,0 grs of N110 and 200grs Lyman bullet make a very mild but exceptionally accurate 38 spl.
Also, I've found very accurate 37,0 grs of N160 ( a bit slower than N150) and 311284 (both in 30/06 and 308 win) Garand, cycling action. Still in Garand, I use 34,6 grs of N135 and Lee C312155 (not sure of the bullet number; it's that 155 grs designed by Ed Harris).
