Miha has given the green light to run a very popular 45 caliber bullet design for 45 Colt and the 454 Casull primarily. The .452/.454 260-275 grain Wide Flat Nose. This should prove to be a very versatile and useful Boolit Mold to add to your collection.

The Boolit shown is for reference only and the crimp to nose length will not exceed .32 and the full diameter of the boolit will not exceed .05 from the crimp groove to ensure it chambers in most guns. Meplat will be .4 or less. Solid weight will be in the 275-280 range and hollow pointed options should bring it down to around 255-260 depending on alloy and hollow Point option. The final design is being worked by a member here and will be finalized by MIHEC. As always he puts his own spin on popular designs.

Please see updated Boolit Design and Photo. The original design had some oversights that would complicate production and functionality in Leverguns. The final MIHEC approved design is now in. 45.2.1 design. This is a learning process, thanks for your patience and understanding.

I just got mine. I have a number of miha’s molds, but this is the first one I had to sign for. Since I am employed, and my wife has passed, I wasn’t home to sign. I went to the post office 1/2 mile from my house and they sent me to the one 5 miles from my house. I had to jump through hoops in rush hour traffic, but it was certainly worth it. As usual this thing looks great. Thanks Bluejay and thanks Miha.

I cast some large hp’s with it this weekend. They are cavernous. They weighed 147gns with my mix of 60/40.

That is 60% coww to 40% soww. I am going to try the small hp pins next. For the bigger calibers, I prefer to hunt with the small hp’s so it is no big deal to me.

I go with the DHL shipping option, and never had one get hung up in customs. Knock on wood! It is an extra 9 euros.

Yeah, I signed up for USPS Informed Delivery. It's an email spam fest and it hasn't shown anything either. Miha did give tracking before, but not now I guess.
