I spoke with Miha today, this mold WILL make it into your hands in August of this year guys!! it's not going to stay open much longer if you are sitting on the fence, jump in!!

- Casting at .460 or .462 (You choose)
- Flat base or Gas Check (you choose)(Smooth side only in FB)
- Steel sprue plate
- Hardened steel alignment pins
- Allen keys are included
- RCBS/Lyman top punch is included
- Use MP mold handles or LEE 6 cavity handle (NOT included but you can add for an +20 Euro)
-Sample of sprue lube is included (15ml)
-Pins will be large and small round, large and small Penta pins and solid, 5 sets total.

All of the details should be in the drawing below, If you see something to be modified, I can tweak. But I believe this is going to be a tack-driver at 100 yards!

WW's using HP is 405 gr.
Pure lead using HP is 417 gr.
Solid (no pins) using pure is 436 gr.
Solid (no pins) using WW's is 423 gr.

Sequence of events: Participants order molds and are placed on the list, the Group Buy will close (which will be posted on the thread) at some time determined by MiHec, the molds are made from the orders on the list at the time it is closed or by altering what you want via PM to MiHec after it's closed. Extra molds should be available... order them by PM to MiHec. Invoices will be sent out via e-mail from the listed addresses and you pay by using Paypal...... Invoice will be in Euros which Paypal converts from Euros to dollars. After you pay, the mold gets shipped.

To bad we can't get it smooth sided with gas check since I'll be powder coating and checking. Hint hintRoto- unfortunately Miha's tooling can't accommodate this. There will be 1 master cherry with the lube grooves and GC in them. Then there is one more cherry that is just a straight shaft blank. The blank gets used for the smooth sided Boolits. The act of making it smooth, cleans out all the smaller diameter features. To be clear, it can be done but would require another separate GB.

I want to order a mold but I would like a crimp groove. Adding a crimp groove will not change anything for those who don't need or use them. It would be the reason for my interest in a mold.Tradbear55- I appreciate your request, and I can certainly draw up another design which will use a crimp groove. But i cant modify this GB.

I am on vacation this week so don't have full computer access, but if your interested I'd be glad to start an alternative. Could even modify other features to accommodate you.

The cost will be about $100 for the mold and $25 for each of the handles. Shipping is included. It's hard to estimate time, but I would say 2 months from now we could be casting.

To All that have signed up for this GB. The Honchos had a meeting with Miha over the weekend, and I was able to get clarification on this mold. I would like to modify the 2-cav HP into 4-cav molds, but can only do this if all that have signed up to the 2-cav HP would agree? I am going to PM each of the buyers next, but would like feedback on this thread.

Thats what we are here for, to help everyone through the process. When you get "invoiced" from Miha (MP molds) it will be an email directly to you, from Paypal. I'm attaching one I got today as an example:

I need 18, 4-cav HP molds for this one to get machined. Miha's requirement is to order the pins for 100 individual pin sets for HP molds. We are at 26 cavities at the moment so need 76 more HP cavities.

For those who are waffling the only 45-70 mold I've got that compares to MP molds was made by BRP who no long makes them. You WILL NOT be sorry with this mold in 45-70....

Well, I thought I would change the four cavity solid to a HP if pins to make a solid came with the HP mold, but I see only 2 sets of pins come with it. Soooo, put me down for a second four cavity HP .462 gas check.

Hi Big bore - I'll update the post #1 to say that solid pins will come with it, if you change the solid over to an HP, you won't need a second mold. Tell me which order # you were please.... I wasn't putting the user names in at that time and I cant associate you to an email.

Hi Ed, Spoke with Miha on Friday, he now has all the pins for this mold and is going to be cutting brass on Monday, we should be getting emails from Miha very soon, hopefully early in the week.
