Some pics of a partial lot of my 22 collection

Just so you know, my dad got me into collecting and keeping full and correct boxes of 22 shells telling me "son these will be worth a lot someday" - of course I didn't believe him at the time, I wanted to go shoot them but somehow he made sure I always had enough 22's so I didn't have to. I started early in life and am now almost 60 and be danged, daddy wasn't as dumb as I thought he was as a teenager. Still miss you old man.....

First shot is some Winchester super X and super speed boxes, all full and correct:

Second is several boxes of Winchester Staynless primers -- the Winchester "Blue Box" hiding behind them are from the 20's, 1926 or so according to research all correct and pristine, LOVE those Blue boxes!

Third is one of my favorites, a "Peach Palma" box. IIRC it took me about five years to track this one down:

Hope you have enjoyed my pictures. I haven't bought many boxes in recent years, price, cost to ship, etc. Has made them just about unaffordable although I'm always searching for more pieces. These are going to my grandson and when he's my age hopefully they will be worth a small fortune!

I did enjoy them . I don't really collect but I have a number of old full boxes I have picked up over the years that I value pretty highly . They are a joy to look at , thanks for sharing .
