Can I use 8x57 dies & just back them out 3mm?

I have one. Mine is a .318 bore. I would think 8x57 dies could be used but the base would not get resized. Probably fine in a bolt gun. Assuming you have the more common .323 bore.

Yes you can use the 8x57 to neck size only. Just be careful not to touch the shoulder.
