I just picked up a Hensely & Gibbs 6 cavity mold # 51 with handles. This is 158 gr SWC single grease groove .357 dia. Guy wanted $50.00 for it so I said OK. He has had it over 45 years and it was in very good shope. Brought it home and cleaned the oil off it w/carb cleaner and started casting straight WW's. NEVER have I had a mold that casts as fast as this one. Culls are around 1%. Only problem is the pot empties in a hurry, refilled it 3 times.

The pot, well he also had an old Saeco about the same age and he let it go for $20.00. Now I'm in "high cotton" and thinking about selling off some of the 2 cavity molds.

Really?? Moulds must be far cheaper in canada than they are here. Can't hadly get an iron 2 cavity for $40.00 anymore.

$50.00 for a 6 cavity in good shape is a steal and to many an H & G is worth even more.

Bull Shoals, welcome to the forum, you done good. :drinks:

Probably something with the exchange rate....[smilie=1:

$50 for a H&G 6 banger? That's a deal I would do all day long (might feel guilty about it, though).
