Glad ole Ezra got this right, except fer one thang. I can hit the side of a barn every time with me AK(Alaska). All I gotta do is stand with it on my right and the ejected shell will hit it every time.

hey now thats funny, and I have all three, and an ak74 that run circles around a standard ak-47, but that moisin is my go to rifle especially with bayonet is fixed (GRIN). kjg

Bought my MN from a barrel of them in Sears & Roebuck in 1962. It was $19.95. It has killed many deer and groundhogs. Was unable to get satisfactory hunting ammo for it for several yrs. Had to break the spine or use head shot to bring down deer without lots of tracking. When the front sight worked loose I had to tie it to a fence post and bore sight on a tin can while driving the front sight back to it's original location. It has killed many deer since. My son has it now. If it has been cleaned since 1962, he did it.

Yep, Not much can beat an old Enfield for rough beauty. The MN has got that thin little barrel and forestock like a Russian ballerina's leg.

You need to experience an Enfield's beefy front stock and barrel to appreciate the phrase, "Ugly Girls make better lovers"

Yes a mosin nagant is a fine weapon BUT I never seen anybody in the movies hold back a mass rush of ZOMBIES with a M44:-D bayo deployed or not! What, you'll take out 5 and spear 3 more with the bayonet and then your brains are as good as eaten! Not me pal! Well since its common knowledge that to dispatch the undead a solid grey matter hit is required,And since I have owned and shot enough Mosins I and everyone else has about a .0001% chance of a brain hit at 1K yds. So I may as well use volley fire with the AR and AK Spray and pray in the true sense of the phrase. No matter which you choose anything short of a GAU 2 mini gun or thermo nuclear device!:Fire: Your ZOMBIE food! :twisted: So drink to the bottom and open fire and dont retreat!:drinks:

roger that . I really ticked a guy off at the range my FINN M/N last week used a Lyman 311466 and 33 grains of 3031 out shot his new wonder rifle chambered in one of the short magnum rounds . he didn't like that :castmine:
