My leg and I spent a wonderful last day together today. We kept busy so as to keep my mind occupied. It's been a good last day and included doing Pilates one last time, visiting with Dakota my son and fixing the truck. You have been a good leg and you will be missed, thank you for all the years of support! [emoji38]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171213/777f10c3671956b20ba9a77fefe0e4c7.jpg

I was looking at a similar situation not that long ago . It's hard , I opted to try and save it . Many times have wish I had chosen to go with a prosthetic . I understand where your at .

I am praying for a successful surgery , a quick recovery time and short rehab period . GOD is with you . I am optimistic .

Well, I may get flamed for this, but unfortunately, we have decided not to hire you for our next butt kicking contest.

Best wishes,

You might consider making a lamp out of it, like on "A Christmas Story". "It's a major award".

With your great attitude, It looks like you will be fine. You are a better man than me. I hope all went well.

May God watch over you as your physicians do the job that will lead to your healing. I pray that He guides them and allow them to do what is best for your healing. Lastly, I pray for comfort and speedy healing for you. AMEN

Prayers for a speedy recovery and do not push it, let things heal before trying to use a prosthetic. Friend didn't and it cost him the rest of his leg from infection

sure looks painful. Hopefully at least after a while you wont have to live with all the pain.

Reddirt62, Condolences on your loss and glad everything came thru with the surgery.

I will be going in on Monday 12/18 for surgery on both legs to open up blockages that have formed right below my artificial grafts. For now I a too am doing everything in my power to keep hold of my legs. Yes I have also discussed with my Dr. the future and have accepted that one day I will reach the same point you have. It will be life changing for sure but it won't be the end of the world either.

Best wishes for your recovery and rehab.
