Just wanted to thank everyone here that has helped myself and many others get started in this hoby. 180+ pound hog shot at 70 yards with my Hipoint carbine with a powder coated Lee 200 rf over 4.6 of red dot. First shot ( high center of shoulder) broke the scapula and spine, you see the second in the ribs. Suprisingly both slugs exited leaving nickel sized holes. The performance of a cast lead slug is indeed amazing.

Nicely done I've often thought of getting on of those carbines in 45, don't know anyone who has who doesn't love it

Jump on it. I was hesitant, but figured for under $300 it would be a good step up from .22 for the girls. Most fun gun we own. My wife and 16 year old daughters will run through 100 rounds in nothing flat. With the red dot I put on it, they can't miss a pop can at 25 yards or so.

I picked up a cheap 9 and set it up for the wife, she giggles like a school girl on the water bottles. I just got some high cap mags. Haven't tried them yet tho..I best get back to loading...:)

Rich I have 3, if it was me I would be looking at Southern Ohio Gun as they have the best prices I've seen.

I have yet to regret any of the 4 I have owned. Sold one only because my shooting buddy kept hounding me to. Did not really want to, but did it for him.

I do love the folding forgrip. Makes it easy to shoot off a bench and solid to shoot offhand.

Long range precision rifles they are not. But solidly built, reliable if ugly as sin. IMO they have their place in the toolbox.

Yeah, what's up with that? They already have the .40 carbine, just ream the chamber a bit deeper, put in a heavier recoil spring, and start shipping them! Those two yahoos on YouTube did it several years ago and it worked fine.

And I’m about ready to, but don’t want all the extra cost and parts.

If I got one of those in 40SW I'd have to get a different press - and buy more lead. The BO is bad enough for running through ammo.
Good job for a 70 yd shot.

I have got a 9mm and a coffee can full of loaded up rounds. It was going to be my replacement for a 22 when there was no reliable supply of ammo. If I ever get find a place to shoot here I will make some empty brass. It IS as much fun as everybody says it is!
