While looking through my molds I came upon a Lee R.E.A.L. / .440 rb combo mold that my neighbor gave me about three years ago. The bullet is supposed to be a 200 gr. .45 caliber. Any guesses as to if it would make a decent bullet for a .45 Colt cartridge? The driving bands mike out from .456 at the bottom to .464 at the top.

Just for giggles I loaded some in a 45 auto. Shot surprizingly well. Give it a shot!

Did you shoot as cast or size it?

It's been awhile and I don't remember for sure but I think I sized. See how they fit. If I remember right the bullet is tapered from the bottom for easier starting in a ML. I remember using LLA.
