A few weeks I cast a few hundred NOE .44 SWC HP from a new mold and coated them with Prismatic powder sage color. The bullets turned out pretty good ladle cast and the powder coating held up well after putting a bullet in my pocket with keys for a week.

Since our range is temporary closed my neighbor was nice enough to let me set up in his horse pasture this afternoon. All I had to shoot off of was an old portable rest . The sun was affecting my sights pretty bad. It was the only opportunity I was going to get to shoot 4 different loads so I did my best against the low lying sun.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171125/0c303075f3f8175f18dcbb1804451f54.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171125/eb5afe53f738f2b6f0bb0d697caf02e0.jpg

The loaded ammo looked good. I just hoped it would shoot. I started off by verifying my go-to bullet for this 5 1/2 inch 629- a mountain molds 80% meplate bullet SWC that shoots great. I don't have a picture of it right now.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171125/60845b501cb3ccae5177fa65e8886edf.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171125/b16b03560ce7ff6263bf55628cb79771.jpg

Of the 4 loads this one shot the best and didn't require a change in zero from my Mountain Molds bullet. This is the first time I have shot this powder. Loads with 296, 2400, and accurate arms number 9 shot about 2 inches to the left. I have since loaded 200 rounds with this bullet

Nice shootin'! Is that 25 yards or 50?

25 yards. I didn't have but 6 test rounds of each load. Also just had limited time and distance. I will try them at 50 yards when I get a good place to shoot. I was hoping to try them out this morning but the deer aren't cooperatinghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171125/e23d3a0aa2e3138054dc9ab826cf8db4.jpg
