I have used these bullets to fire-lap dozens of rifle barrels and each one had improved accuracy. It is not necessary to use the entire kit on each barrel. Currently have about a dozen kits of various calibers in my shop.

You are not limited to 257. You can use the abrasive with any caliber.

I had a 308 Israel mauser that was a sewer pipe. Lapped the out of it with firelapping.

So much so, that it now needs .311 jkted bullets BUT will shoot 2" groups @100 with issue sights.
