I've been using this boolit with great success over 5 gns of Vhita Vuori N310 (read Bullseye) for use mainly on indoor pistol ranges but it also shoots good out about 100yrds for small game. I'm shooting them in Enfield rifles with Enfield barrels

I shoot it gas checked and lube sized to .314" however I have tried it without the gas check (seems a waste using a gas check on such low velocity round) both lube sized and tumble lubed and it won't group worth a damn.

I'm thinking that with out the gas check its just too short a bearing surface.

Anyone else tried them without gas checks?

Do we need a plain based version?

And, if you decide to sell it (der soupcan), I'd like to buy it.

Sorry but what's the cast weight of the soup can?

Don't know about a soup can but I cast a tomato past can one time and it weighted about 3 pounds

113 or 115 grains is what I remember.

I think mine is/was actually a Lee standard product that looks like that.

Heck I forget.
