Ebay is about your best bet.

Saw a .357max there a couple of days ago.

Keep searching gunbroker also. They are getting significantly harder to find as those who like them hang on to them.

That gunbroker gun has a price on it right now, not too much higher that I have heard just barrels are going for!!

Hard to find and sometimes expensive, Flebay has them from time to time but not very often.

Rockrat I have a .357mag Handi rifle and it had me considering it.

I have seen just barrels go for 4-500$ this last year. Get the whole gun for barrel price, that is win win in my book.

I have 2. Just worked out one of them tonight. Shooting 360 DW with 158 FP XTPs At 2050 FPS into little clusters at 100 yards.

I would look to getting a Thompson Center and order a MTM 18 inch barrel for it. Tolerances and accuracy will be better.

It seems there is some money to be made if someone can set up to make these.

Only bbl I have other than a complete rifle is a 45-70. Love to have a pistol cal bbl myself. It won't quite lock on my receiver either... but I have 2 other 45-70 Marlins

I shoot my .357 handi in .360dw brass also. They tend to have a long throat. I played with a dummy load until it would just snap shut without leaving rifling marks on the bullet. Then used that dummy to set my dies.

3 in one hole at 50 yards, would do it at 100 if I was as good now as I was in my 20's.
Both the .357 and the .444marlin handi's have given me cloverleaf's or tighter at 75 and 100 yards if I can do my end.

Traditions has a 357 rifle for about $300 and a bit. I may go that route if I ever decide to get another 357
