View Full Version : Mini-mod to inverted press used to size PC bullets

quick recap:
got into PC and have evolved to the 'dump on wire mesh tray and cook' method. Cut my time by half but that's another story.

went from Lee sizing die on upright press to inverted press to constructing a PVC tube to drop bullets onto the sizing die--keeps my fingers round and not flat

The PVC tube is hot glued to a vertical flat piece of wood that I clamp onto the press.

Problem: the vertical support on the press has a 'channel' for lack of a better name cast in its left side when inverted. The PVC is positioned on the right side since I drop bullets with my right hand.

the problem was the tube and support parts would move as the clamps would try to fit into this channel.

Solution: I hot glued a strip of tin on the left side and this did away with the channel
