WTT - Lyman #357446 D.C. for Lyman #311041 D.C.
I'd like to trade my Lyman #357446 double cavity mould for your Lyman #31141 or #311041 double cavity mould.
The #357446 drops plain base bullets at .360" diameter and 161 grains with my alloy of approximately 95-3-2.
The block faces and cavities are in excellent condition, and the sprue plate is flat. I received this mould used. The outside of the blocks and edges of the sprue plate had seen some improper usage. The outer top edges of the blocks showed slight rounding. The sprue plate had burrs, evidently someone had used a metal object to cut the sprues. These issues have been cleaned up and the mould cast fine now.
One handle screw is missing and the sprue plate stop pin has been set a bit deeper into the block than is normal.
I am looking for a double cavity Lyman #31141 / #311041 that will cast a good bullet. Minor external cosmetic or structural issues that do not affect the casting capabilities of the mould do not matter to me.
Thanks for lookin'
