If you can wait a few days I can cast some and send them to you. All of my current bullets are from a "beagled" mold and oversized. How many did you need? No charge by the way.

Howdy Steve;
Will these drop at 309 or are they going to be larger? I could trade you some Lead for some cast if that would work for you. Looking to get on hand about 5# or so to do a test in a 308 Ruger and in a 30-30 Marlin.
Let me know.
Thanks

I don't remember what they drop without the beagling. Tomorrow I will get the original castings out and measure them.

Whenever I buy a new mold I clean it up, break it in and cast some bullets to keep for future reference.

My Marlin 336 in 30-30 has a microgroove barrel and I wanted a bullet that I could gas check and size to .311". I remember that I had to add beagling tape to the mold to get it to drop large enough to downsize.

It may drop at .309" or slightly larger. I will let you know for sure tomorrow. But sized and gas checked to .311" this is my favorite bullet for my Marlin. It is deadly accurate.

Good to know Steve. I have a Marlin JM 30-30 with Micro Groove rifling and these sound like what I need. I also will use them in a Ruger 308 that seems to have a lack of tolerance for fat meplat'd bullets, even the driving band has to be no more than .309
