Cast some boolits for my 405 JES today with new mold. Had to run it a little hot to get such a big slug to fill the front and the rear. If I had shiny boolits on the front the back would not fill completely, if they were just slightly frosted they would fill perfectly and just wiping after loading, they were shiny again! 207319207320

Once I was given a pile of .412" boolets of about 310 gr. I played around paper patching and final sizing the patched boolet to .417" dia. for my .416 Taylor. As I recall they shot pretty well>Robert
