Does anyone know of a resource to figure cast boolit ballistics?

Are we talking about bullet dops? I have an excel sheet i punch in velocities and BC. What ever you use for jacketed bullets will work for cast. You just have to know the bullet BC which you can find from most manufactures bullet catalogs.

The Hornady site has a ballistic calculation page that works well for my rifles. As long as you have a ballistic coefficient to plug in, it should work fine.

I've been able to pretty effectively "wing it".

NOE lists approximate B.C.'s with the drawings for their molds. If I'm using something else, I check the NOE site for a bullet that's roughly same caliber, weight, and length, then plug those numbers into the Hornady online calculator.

The link below is a very basic Ballistic Coefficient calculator that will get you in the ball park.

http://tmtpages.com/calcbc/calcbc.htm (http://tmtpages.com/calcbc/calcbc.htm)

However, for a ballistic coefficient calculator that is configured to calculate the ballistic coefficients of cast bullets (and jacketed, and round balls),
The Cast Bullet G1 Ballistic Coefficient Calculator application (http://www.tmtpages.com/New_G1BC/cast_bc.htm)
returns more realistic coefficients and has the ability to record and retrieve the calculated coefficients.

To calculate all aspects of velocity, bullet drop, trajectory path (http://www.tmtpages.com/New_Prec_Bal/Help/hlp_ballistics_and.htm), wind deflection (http://www.tmtpages.com/New_Prec_Bal/Help/hlp_wind_drift.htm), and sight settings (http://www.tmtpages.com/New_Prec_Bal/Help/hlp_adjustable_sight.htm) for all types of sights (http://www.tmtpages.com/New_Prec_Bal/Help/hlp_vernier_sight.htm).

The Precision Ballistics, Trajectory and Sight Settings Calculator application (http://www.tmtpages.com/New_Prec_Bal/bal.htm)
includes records of over 300 cast bullets (http://www.tmtpages.com/New_Prec_Bal/Help/hlp_select_bullet.htm) and 600 Jacketed bullets (http://www.tmtpages.com/New_Prec_Bal/Help/BulletDatabaseJacketed-Basic.PNG), including the ability to add more (http://www.tmtpages.com/New_Prec_Bal/Help/hlp_edit_bullet.htm) if needed.

This application also includes the above Cast Bullet Ballistics Coefficient calculator.
