Beautiful! You know . . . with all the "non standing" controversy, etc. that goes on . . . maybe I'm just old but I just don't understand how an individual CAN'T stand when the National Anthem is played. It's one song that I never get tired of and there is never a time that I don't choke up when I hear it. We live in the greatest country in the world and everY time i hear it, I think of the veterans I knew and know and in particular, those I knew who served who didn't come back to allow us to have what we do today. Thanks for the post . . that was great!
