Was able to finally get around to using some molds I had available and was pacing myself between two at the same time.
One is a lyman 311-332 and the other I did not look to closely until I started to see the results ....
It was given to me some time back and as stated in the header ....looked much closer and it is a Hensley and Gibbs #20.
After initial warm up , it was dropping some very nice boolets ! ..
with sizing and lubing in my "old" 45 .. they weigh very consistently a 176.6 gr. with my alloy mix .
Looking forward to trying them out in my 308's .
Does anyone here have any further information on this mold as I suspect it has some history with it .
Will be using it in a bolt and semi auto action here on top of some 4064 behind it .
I will be grateful for any info/history , particulars as to load .
appreciate it much.

Digger,
I got this mold a couple of years ago and it's a great performer for me out of my Win 1895 and RIA 1903. Actually, I use this bullet in Garand matches with my 'ought 3". Anyway, I got some good info from a couple of fella's here...see this thread.

Good Luck and Semper Fi.

My H&G molds are a joy to cast with, as yours is. You may want to google H&G molds. The H&G website has lots of interesting info. You mold probably has a serial number and possibly can give you the date it was made. The website is in one of the stickies on here but I don't remember which one.

I just started loading my H&G #20 in my Garand.
32 gr. of 4064 with a dacron filler gave me 3/4 in. group at 50 yds not counting a flyer.
The boolit weighed 160 cast from 50/50 WW/Lino. Lube was NRA 50/50.
Functioning was flawless......dale
