9mm lead casted boolits.

Hello lady and gents. I'm new to the group and also to casting boolits. I'm wanting to cast 120gr, 9mm boolits from clip-on wheel weight. I will be using the Lee 356-120-tc 6 cavity mold. But I cant seam to find a load data in any of my books. Any help will be Appreciated. Thanks...

New to cast boolits, eh?
The Lyman cast bullet handbook 4th Ed. is probably the best source of info about reloading cast and includes lots of cast bullet load data. It's the most used reloading manual in my library.

The Lee 356-120-TC (the one with traditional lube grooves) is a real good design for 9mm.

Welcome to the Cast Boolits site. There are lots of good advice here from some of the nicest people around that are willing to help. As JonB said, Lyman is one of the best places to get started with cast boolits. Their new 50th edition manual is a real gem for cast shooters as well as the 4th.

you can also use jacketed data and start with loads in the 800-fps area and work up.
you don't need 5,000 fps to make a hole in paper at 20'.

Use 124-125gr data. FWIW, your bullets are likely to end up about that weight anyway. I would try to size 0.357" for best results in most 9mm pistols. Not sure the Lee will throw that large though.

Excellent, but With LEE QC, they can be all over the place. What do the finish bullets weigh? I wish Lee would make a 147gr mold for 9mm, baffles me they don't.

They will be 120-124 range depending on your alloy. I no longer worry about weighing them because my alloy is fairly consistent and I've probably shot 13-14000 of them from the 6 cavity mold I have. I size them .357, lube with 50/50 and just shoot them. OAL of 1.07 works for all my 9's. Go to load is 4.4 grains Unique.

I have that mold it works great in my kel-tec sub. 4.2 gr unique sized .358 seated 1.058 good groups. I just got back into cast for the 9mm. Its a lot of fun once you figure out this little cartridge. It was a little challenging for me.
