Marlin 336 SC chambered in 30-30. As you can see i need to get it back into natural wood form, however it shoots extremely well.
I have the original forend , but the original stock suffered complete destruction due to a disgruntled woman who attempted to hit her husband with it. ( so says the fella that i bought it from).
Anyhow it was built in 1950 (by the serial#) It does have the Ballard rifling. and the action is so smooth that , the first time i shot it i had to actually reopen it to make sure it picked up the next round. Not bad for a $200 rifle eh?
I am currently shooting a Lachmiller 174 Gr. FN PC'd boolit out of it. Shows real promise in the accuracy department. Any suggestions on other boolits for hunting applications. this will be a 100yd and under gun. thanks for looking. - CASTER

With a story like that, a smooth action and an accurate shooter, I don't care what it looks like. You snagged a deal.

You got a waffle top for $200... Nice score. You should be able to find a nice used stock on eBay or maybe here and be all set.

Wow, that's a good deal! At that price I'd buy'em all day long, love those SC's, especially a waffletop.
