This storage setup for the 6 cavity molds seems to work nicely, the "magic dimensions" for the slots are 11.5" wide and 1.812" tall, then two molds will fit nicely. I stapled these up with 1/4" crown staples, did the brass storage boxes the same way.

Wow, you don't just sling them in a box and stir them around with a steel bar to find the one you want?

I don't think you have enough powder.

Sweet! :drinks: Far to organized though. I subscribe to the Patrick F. McManus school of organization- grab a handful and throw it on the floor, then search for what you want!

I think I have about 30 hours in getting that all arranged like that, different parts of it have been together before in different places I have lived. I think those end units under the bench are USmil surplus that my Dad had since they moved from RI in 1960. Dad had that bench in the garage where I grew up in 1967...it used to be about 2x that long but it has been shortened twice :-).

The 4lb cans of 4759 powder was a special run dupont did due to popular demand, the price says $15 for the whole 4lbs...Dad scored (4) cans because SR4759 was such a good CB powder.

I had a 4000 sq ft building FULL of stuff when I bought the house my wife and I live in, we emptied that building and also brought stuff I still had at Ma's house.

This is as well organized as it has EVER been, I HATE knowing I have a thing but not being able to FIND it :-)/

Good pics. Got some ideas there I could use. I've got a large cabinet over my bench that's too deep to be accessed easily. I'm thinking I'll relocate it to my tool shed and build shallower open faced cabinents like you've got there.

My powder stock is growing too -- thinking I better get serious about building the recommended 1" thick enclosed wood box for storage. A bulk buy from Powder Valley due to arrive tomorrow and this got me to thinking about that issue again.

Same goes for my primer stash.

You need to shoot some of that powder up....some of it came over with the Mayflower. Some of the cans are thirty plus years old. Or do you collect them like me?

Lots more organized than my stuff in many ways, I must say.

I only collect them with the powder IN them :-).
