I had UP North make these adjustable core molds for me a few years ago. I just don't have much time to do much shooting, much less swaging.

The smaller diameter core mold is new, never used. He reamed the cavities at .3125". This mold was designed for 40 cal bullets using either commercial jackets or 9mm brass. The core was designed to drop down and rest on the bottom of the 9mm case so there would be no air gap when the core is seated.

The larger diameter core mold casts maybe 200 cores. It was designed like the smaller one, but for 45 cal bullets. The cores in the picture measure right at .332" and weigh 185 grain. You can see how much adjustment these molds give you to cast various weight cores. For plinking bullets the cavities can be adjusted using a slug as a gauge. Just close the slug in each cavity and screw the adjustment screw until there is firm contact. Gets you really close.

I paid $175 each for these and would like to get $260 shipped for both. If there is no interest in purchasing both as a lot, I will break them up (at $130 shipped each).

USPS MO only. USA shipping only. Thanks!

Tony

Spf. Thanks!

Dcrockett these are cores for jacketed bullets. You would also need a jacket to seat these cores in. Then once seated you use a point form die to give the bullet its final profile. And of course you'd need a set of swage dies and sturdy press to perform all these operations.
