I finally picked up a little .25 acp. It has a fun little story unto itself. As most know, Gander Mt. is going under and selling off their current stock at a discount. I noticed this nickel plated little pearl handled number in the display case. I just love these little old school vest pistols. It's a Galesi 504 (I think) probably made in the late 50's. It had a red tag reading $59.99. As soon as I asked to see it, the clerk says "You don't want that thing, it's broken". I ask further, and he says the head of their firearms department has deemed it unsafe and it is for parts only. I check it over, and can't find a thing wrong with it. I was probably warned not to buy, it's dangerous, don't shoot it, at least 10 times. Almost like they didn't WANT me to buy it. Based on my limited knowledge, and knowing full well the deep insight most big box store gun clerks have, I choose to take a leap. I ask for the forms. They made me sign a form saying I would use it for parts or display only. Last night I went out to display......how well it would shoot. She ran like a friggin top! 75 rds of S&B and I had 2 light primer strikes, 75 rds of PPU and nary a issue. So much for "broken".

Anyway........I need a bullet mould. Only thing I've been able to find is a RCBS for over $130. Considering I'm a hardcore LEE man, that seems like a fortune. I almost even went to the dark side and looked for factory jacketed bullets, but they want $15-$17 per hundred! No way. Any ideas?

There are two 50 grain molds that I am aware of - RCBS and Lyman, .252435? There is also a 60 grain that was a Ranch Dog special which you may be able to find on Ebay.

LBT but it is not at a lee price . I own many lee molds and 3 LBT which are worth the price he charges .Marvin

I have this, the lee 25-640... it drops a bit large... the whole setup is a real pain in the big fingers.. powder weights are tiny, and the boolit is a bit on the large, requiring a sizer which I don't have.

Howabout a blank lee mold if still available, or change the pivot point of spru cutter of a surplus mold,a modified drill or 1/4" ball end mill. No groves and powder coat. Then size if needed.

Or maybe a #2 or #3 buckshot as a round ball. Coated or not.

What model is that? I can't find a Lee 25-640 anywhere. What diameter does it drop them? Wanna sell it?

There is a 3rd, MP made a HP mold, I have the RCBS as well. The round is a bit of a PITA.
