Glock 17 ?

I slug my bore on my Glock pistol ir drop at .355.
I had some .356 cast loaded so I tried a few shots the gun shot great but at the end of the day I did have very little leading just in front of the breech face.
I like to ask can I run .357 cast threw the bore.

I run 0.357" in all my 9mm, I don't slug bores. You will find your OEM GLock bbl will prefer slightly larger dia lead bullets than 0.356".

My 17 shoots .356 with only minimal powder fouling near the breech using range scrap.

I shot 0.356" sized cast and would get leading at the muzzle. I now powder coat and then size to 0.356". Now there is no more leading at all. All my cast boolits are powder coated now.

I shoot the LEE 125 R lead bullet with a BHN of 15 in my 17 and 19 and 42 and get no leading after a range visit. I size to .356. I did shoot alot of jacketed/hardball breaking in the gun because that's all I could find, roughly 800 to 1000 rds. Now I shoot Extreme plated and lead in all my Glocks without any problems other than keeping them fed. Your mileage may vary.

I Tried some loads using .357 @.356
Powder bulleye 3.5 threw 3.6
Bullet 122 gr.T C bhn 15
Resulets are in the Glock will shoot both loads but the .356 was the winner.
I was certain the .357 would shoot a tighter group

I used to run 358s in the 9s I had that would run them but found it a pain to keep separate ammo for different guns. So I size everything to 357 for the 9s now.

My Hipoint C9 needs .359's to stop the keyholing and bring groups back tight.
