View Full Version : What would a fair trade be?

I am going to trade my Dad (dale clawson on this site) a few firearms. What woulda fair trade be for a Taurus Raging Hornet in 22 Hornet (of course) a Ruger M77/22 22 hornet and a Marlin 30/30 all in new to excellant condition? I was thinking a big pile of cast boolits and some custom reloads would probably do it...... maybe I should stick him with taking a puppy in the trade?

Anyway here is a pic of the Raging Hornet I will put up pics of the others later. Since Dad has not seen the pics yet and I don't post here to much we will see how long it takes for him to find em.

He's your dad, everyone knows parents will just give the stuff to you, no need to trade!:-D:-D
My daughter helps herself, for that matter so does my dad. Must be getting back at me for all those years of "trading" with him.:mrgreen:
Seriously, you could discuss it with him, just an idea. :drinks:

Holy Cow! I don't have that much WW stockpiled. I've got to get to scrounging, casting, and loading, and finding Hornet brass. DALE

Well James C. that depends on how old you are......... I may be sending these guns to Momma instead to use on Dad.........

you should keep the ruger, if he can't hit a turkey with the pistol, he can use the marlin...

runfiverun: that sounds like totally irrational advice, I really NEED to have a rifle in the same cal. as the pistol, and I already have molds for it, and bullets, primers, powder, dies coming,the pistol only holds seven shots and our turkeys sometimes run in gangs of hundreds,and you wouldn't want me to be underguned in a prarie dog town, would you, and what if I were attacked by a gang of jack rabbits.
