Great. I purchased the 175g RD 38/357 mold I've been eyeballing. A few other things found their way into the cart prior to checkout.

Early in the month, and my fun money is already gone. Again.

But, I really NEEDED that mold, right ?

Been there, done that. Last time was when I thought there was going to be no 1k club discount after Thanksgiving last year. The day after I placed my order the email came out. I've been deleting emails from all casting/reloading/firearms vendors as of late. It's saved me a bunch of money.

My wife buys most of her shoes at Walmart. Once in a while I'll talk her into getting a good pair at Academy on closeout. In the 29 years we've been together I think the most expensive pair of shoes she has bought is $50.

I'm kind of puzzled though. I've had my eye on the .45 155 gr SWC mold for a while. I'm positive that it was only offered in a 3 & 5 cavity size. Today when I go to order it's listed as 2 & 4. I was going to go for the three but had to go with the four as I'm not buying non-hollow point pistols molds in 2 cavity any more.

Ordered the SC311-165-RD and a .311 sizing bushing for my Grandson. His uncle gave him a Marlin 336 Youth in 30-30. He's pretty small yet so they'll be loaded down some till he grows into the heavy loads, but they'll come in handy for rabbits and stuff on the farm they live on. I'm betting he'll run his dad ragged for more ammo.

BTW, that email fetched me a new 3 cavity .452 290 gr RD mold. It showed up in my mailbox yesterday.

"Paint" the pins with graphite and get the mold hot. I like to heat the mold on a hot plate with the pins holders setting on the hot plate
Gets the pins hot quicker
