Finally got around to loading a few 152 30 cal bullets for my 308(s) and left some in the powder measure fior a couple of day resulting in the powder attacking the brass drum. Left a residue that will scrub off w/a 0000 steel wool, but something seems wrong. I have left other powders fro a few days w/no adverse affects.

Any thoughts?

How old is your powder and how has it been stored?

Not sure of the age but seems as if it's 5 or 6 years old. Been stored next to the other stuff in the house.
