Cannot subscribe to a sub forum

I had a problem recently where I stopped getting email notifications about threads I subscribed to. I now get the emails for individual thread but I cannot subscribe to a sub-forum. I have cleared the subscription and re-subscribed and marked for daily notification. When I check the subscriptions sections they are not there.

I am another one that has that problem. However, I get the emails for four subforums, but not the other seven that I subscribed to. Several times I have unsubscribed and resubscribed with no change in results.
