I have a good friend that is getting up in years and carries a newspaper article with him in his wallet everyday from where he killed his first deer with this exact model gun when he was 11 years old. I thought it would be a neat gift to find for him. Please let me know if you have one to let go or have any leads. Thanks in advance.

They are neat rifles. My favorite squirrel rifle is a 219 in .22 Hornet.

Here's one. Been fitted for a recoil pad, but otherwise, looks good.

There is one listed on an on-line auction nearby with a 20 gauge extra barrel and forend up for bids. The seller states that the gun doesn`t work, but can probably be fixed. I have a 219 in .30-30 that I also like considerably, am working on a cast load using #311041 mold.Robert

That rifle could tell some stories of old northern WI bucks!

They have a reputation for broken firing pins, I bet that's the problem.
