View Full Version : Anyone ID This Case Trimmer??

Anyone know this one? I imagine it's Vintage, so figured I'd try here.
Picked this up last week, no mfg. markings, just the case size scale, and Micro adjustment scale. 22 cal. pilot, wooden knob, alum. construction.
Did a quick Google pix search, didn't see any.

I sure like how it is made, with the dove tailing and the adjustable shell holder.

The only thing giving me pause that it is not homemade/shop made are the nice green metal labels.

It is a GT Smiley. There is supposed to be a big wooden knob on the splined shaft in the rear. Model 500, 1950

Definitely an improvement over my Smiley which is primitive looking in comparison; an aluminum I beam with parts bolted on.

Thanks for the info, figured someone here would know.
Even seen the Patent, and another ad in 1956-7 Gun Mag.
Think I'll write for a free folder, maybe parts!!! LOL.
