I think I took this photo a few years ago, as a "What's it" photo on facebook??? ...I suspect 99.99% of the members here will know what this is.

Recently purchased the closest one. Tore it down today for a refurb so I figured I'd take a family pic beforehand.

I put my casting pots on this sturdy steel cart. I just wheel them into position when I'm ready to do a casting session and then out of the way when I am done. Very Handy.

Waiting on the Pot... Sort of like a "Watched Pot never boils".

Here's my "beyond" photo. It's the only way I "lube" any more.

All on one small metal table with some of the Pb stash of muffins underneath...moulds are on a shelf under the table top.
I've since added another lubesizer on the near right corner and a coffee can for the hot plate garage.
The 20# pot does all the Pb blends, rifle/pistol and the 10# is just soft Pb for HP's.

My "first" castings on a lovely misty Pac NW day back earlier this spring.
I've since bought 4 more molds and a 20 lb pot. :castmine:

Night time casting a few 38 caliber full wad cutters on the picnic table.

Using my hand held electric ladle (a Hilts Molds Hot 1) and two WC moulds.

Your old apothecary cabinet is both very useful storage and the coolest looking old cabinet.

Where did you find it?

Doctor friend was closing his practice and retiring. He gave it to me.

Ha, yeah the heater just happened to be there. The lead pot puts out enough heat to keep me plenty warm, even in January. Heater is in for repair; daughter's dog chewed the cord off of it.
