Hi everyone. I was lucky to have been given a NOS Lee bullet mold. Discontinued and an extreme lack of loads for it in the 38 Special / 357 Mag . Does anyone have any experience with this bullet, and if no known loads, can I use 175 load data and cut it back 10-15 % ? Thanks for your time, greatly appreciated !

Interesting, what is the mold number on that one?

Grab your Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook, 4th edition, and look at page 256.
They have plenty of load information for the Lyman 358429 which is also a SWC design at 170 grains. As always, start at the suggested starting load, and slowly work up to accuracy without pressure signs.

It was factory cataloged 20 years ago, as was said use 358429 data. The bearing surface is similar.
