I have a navy arms Zouave musket 6672 marked on barrel. Anyone know year it was made.

If it is Italian made it will have a date code on the barrel. Below is a link.

Well I did not see a date code. Would it be Spanish made ? I know it had to be made in the 1960s or earlier. It is my son in laws
he has received from his dad. His dad is not with us any more & we are trying to find out when it was purchased.

Strange, I would think back then it would have been made by Zoli or Ranson Italia or Armi San Paolo but there would be Italian proof marks and a date code. It may be Spanish but there generally is Spanish proof marks or the word "Spain" on it somewhere. Unless the barrel was replaced. If you remove the lock and look on the backside it may give a clue. Spanish locks often say Spain on the back. Any markings or letters on the barrel at all besides Navy Arms?
