Is NOE still open for business? I've made a couple of attempts over the last three weeks to contact them through their website to resolve an issue with a mold and have as of yet had no reply, not even an automated one confirming my submission. I have checked my spam file and nothing there either.

I've found it works best to call them.

Just as Nueces mentioned give Al a call. A while back I had off the wall issue and it was Al himself that picked up the phone. My experience with him has been very good.

If you need it resolved quickly call them. Not sure why but they seem to be slow responding to electronic methods.

I agree. Make the call. Al is a great guy to deal with.
I have never received replies to my emails to them. I love their molds.

I'll give him a call. I have three of their molds and the first two are great. This one is casting lopsided bullets, .363x.370 for a 360-172 Keith gas check. I did the heat up and cool down break in they recommend. No fins on the bullets so the blocks are coming together tightly. When I size the bullets in a .359 die, the crimp groove all but disappears.

Give them a call. They respond more quickly than e mail from my experience. My experience has been good!

I have several NOE molds and never had a problem. The only problem I had is with the Postal people.

Called him on 6/10 and he said send the mold and he'll fix it or replace it. Mold arrived 6/15. I called him 7/10 for status. He hadn't opened the package yet but did while we were on the phone. He said he'd call me back in a couple days. Still waiting.

Made contact today. Seems like a really nice guy. Said he'll have it back to me in a few days. He can't get it to cast out of round or oversize but will try again. I can't figure that one out. I was getting bullets so large the crimp groove was almost gone after sizing in a .359 die. Mold blocks were closing completely, no fins, WW+2%. It's a head scratcher.

Is it possible there something wrong with the Sizeing die and not the mold? I would clean and inspect the sizeing die Really well.

Only problem I ever had was my fault, ordered wrong top punches one time. I called him explained my screwup, he sent right ones no charge. When I look for a new mold he's the first place I go to.

Tried some other bullets in the same die. No issues with the sizing die. The bullets were coming out of the mold oversize and oblong. They were coming out of the mold .363 on one side and .370 on the other per my Mitutoyo micrometer.
