Hi mike!

That's my favorite mold..... shoots good enough in everything offhand...( think fast powder and 1100 fps) If you don't like it....I'd take it off your hands

look under my 'homemade caster' thread to see 2 big boxes of 311410's in 3 hours.....

............Mike, mine drop at about .314" and they've done well in a 30 Carbine Ruger, 30-30, 30-06, and 7.65x53. As Castalott says, watch the velocity. I had some lube-sized to .312" and decided to try'em in the 7.35 Carcano, so sized'em on down to .300" and they did fine.

my 44 win mag shoots well with plain base, but i have not tried a lite plain base in rifle. two first guns will be an 03a3 (.30'06)and a 98/parkerhale(7.62x51 nato(308win),26",1/13 twist).

feed me some good data....

i have been looking at quickload. what kinda speed should i be looking at ? these are water quenched ww with a bit of tin. was guessing 1000 to 1200..then saw that someone posted 1350 in the other string on plains.

want 100yd results......

most rifle powders showed burn after bullet left muzzle, while aa2 was burnt quickly.

the burn on the aa2 showed a big pressure bump, and then quit burning.
was thinking the least about of flame time at the base of the boolit was a good thing.
lets hear from all'y'all
