Redding-Saeco Lubri-Sizer top punches

For their Lubri-Sizer Redding-Saeco does not offer top punches for .512- or .476-inch WFN bullets. Is there a source for these top punches?

Since your boolit is a WFN have you tried a flat punch? One that doesn't go around the ogive like normal punches, just sits flat on top of the flat nose.

Would be simple to make, just machine off the end of a SAECO punch with a large enough diameter until it's square and flat.

I have used such punches in my SEACO and it works well and doesn't mess up the nose of the bullet.

I made a flat-nose boolit punch for my SAECO from a 5/16-24 bolt. Mine is about an inch long and has a locking nut about halfway down for something to put a wrench on. It's the way to go if you are che..oops, frugal.

Unfortunately, I am no machinist, nor am I within 75 miles of one. Saeco's biggest top punch is .460 inch.

................I cam make you a Saeco custom nose punch, in which you use epoxy in the cavity and the boolit in question to form fit the nose punch. If you're interested PM me.

Saeco makes nose punch blanks for their sizer with a flat nose available at Midway:

I machine these blanks to accept standard RCBS/Lyman style nose punches.

Yep, I make my own and use the boolit cherry to cut the nose profile in.
