Quick Question?

I have casted for a long time, allways water dropped.
I am going to cast some pure lead for my C.&B. Reolver, to keep them soft, should I not water drop?

Won't matter, pure lead won't harden. Needs Antimony/Arsenic to do that.

That's if it's truly pure, of course. Using scrap lead that's still fingernail soft, I have boolits that get about as hard as air cooled wheelweights after water dropping and aging. What you get depends on what's in it.

i don't see any point in w-dropping if you want them soft.
