Help identify these

I was recently given an ammo belt full of '06 ball ammo in 5 round stripper clips. I know these are not for a Garand, but may be for an old Enfield or Springfield or M1917 or maybe something else I haven't considered. The clips have a very small tab on each end to keep the rounds locked in.

Sorry I don't have a digital camera to post photos, but if someone has photos for comparison, it might help the ID process.

I have no need for them and would like for someone to have them if they can be used.

I have a stack of them - some brass, some appear to be mild steel. They are for the 1903s and 1917 enfields and came in cardboard boxes in bandoleers.
