Terry Weiland mentions him in his article about the .455 Webley says he makes or made the mold for his 218 grain Man Stopper(full wadcutter) he loaded in the .455 Webleys. If not, where can I locate such a mold?

Hayley's custom ammunition. p.o. box 889 211north river, seymour, texas 76380
phone 940-888-3352. This is the gent who developed the hollow point .455 man stopper bullet. Don't know if he has molds available or sells the bullets only. No website address is listed. Have fun, Frank

The man mentioned, doesn't do Internet. If I recall correctly, he doesn't have a computer.

Also reportedly doesn't answer his phone when busy in the shop. Old fashioned guy. Leave a message or write him a letter.

RCBS makes a "flat" point:

If you want true flat face then shave off 1/8":

And if you indeed want the ashtray then load them upside down.

I must be seeing wrong in your pictures of your RCBS mold? Hollowing plug point in bottom of mold how does the nose come out flat?

you modify the mold on a mill.
otherwise you get the rounded nose and a small sprue nib.

Well, not owning a milling machine would turn this project into a hole to throw money, wouldn't it? I would much prefer to buy a mold cheeried to produce correct bullets from the manufacturer. Is this your usual practice runfiverun?

If you call around i am sure you can find a machine shop near by that can mill down or surface grind the mold for you. I doubt it would cost an arm and a leg.

What kind of loads are we using with this man stopper wadcutter?

I thought I'd use Weiland's loads listed as a starting point?

NOE makes three different 45 wadcutter moulds. One looks just like the RCBS in 17nut's post , all can be had with various hollow and cup points. check them out .
