Cast boolits in C 308 Sporter

Anyone have any experience on this? Will cast boolits mess up the semi-auto action in any way? I know little about the fluted chamber and cast boolits so enlighten me. Big Boomer

Cast bullets will not mess up the action of the C308/CETME/HK91 series of rifles. My experience with them is to use a heavy for cartridge cast bullet such as the 311299 and a medium burning powders such as 4895 with a Dacron filler. The heavier bullet is needed for the recoil impulse for reliable functioning. Best accuracy given the probable 10" twist will be just where reliable functioning occurs; in the 1800 - 1950 fps range.
