"Scored" 310lbs raw WW today for $60... about 1/2 what the scrapper pays.

Oh well. I guess $20 per 100lb bucket isn't too bad. These guys have pretty clean buckets too.

My Scrap dealer pays 0.30 a pound and sells for 0.45 a pound, smelted and in 8 lb ingots. I was going to buy some yesterday from him but he was out of WW alloy.

I would say you got a pretty fair deal.

Ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I've never had to fork out any coin for WW's yet. But I see the writing on the wall.

I guess we'll just have to consider ourselves lucky to even score it for a price.

I got lucky. Next time he's charging me scrapper rate. (.35/lb right now)

BUT I've still got one place where I can get one 130#(ish) bucket every 3 months or so for about $20 since he likes me & I get my Service done there...

I think I've got about 800lbs (sorted) raw right now that I have to smelt.
