45 Colt load???

I was given about 40 pounds of bullets Lyman #452374. Can these bullets be used in a 45 Long Colt? My revolver is a S & W Mountain gun with about.452" throats. Thanks!!!!!

No reason why not. I used a heap of 230gn round nose bought lead boolits in mine for western action after my 45 ACP was bought by our government.
Try 9 gns of Unique - shot Ok in mine for poppers and paper.

it will work fine. Ive fooled with it a bit and it shot real well Id start at about 8 grains of unique, herco, power pistol or universal clays.
