Hornady gas checks for 54R?

Will the Hornady 30 cal gas checks crimp properly onto a 7.62x54R boolit, specifically a Lyman mold #314299 (sized to .311")?

yessir.
the 30 cal checks work on the 31 cal molds.

I am using up what hornady I have before switching to gator checks. Use the hornady in my 54r. They say 30cal, but even 309 is no further from 31cal than 311 is.

Sure should. Gator checks do. Switched to Gator checks. Cheaper and Blammer, a forum member sells them. NOE is a vendor. I got my last supply directly from Larry Blackmon.

0.315" is about the largest I would go. They start to get loose after that.
